Vehicle Collection:

  • Vehicles are collected from sellers on Mondays and Tuesdays only, from 12 noon to 7 pm, at the following location: Vehicle Collection Location.

Required Documentation:

  • A valid and unexpired Istimara registration is required, with no ownership transfer impediments. Otherwise, the vehicle will not be listed.
  • A copy of the ID card is necessary, and the name and ID number must match the Istimara.
  • The seller may only list the vehicle once.
  • Sale includes both the car and license plate. The plate cannot be sold separately at auction.

Auction and Collection:

  • If there are no bids on the car, the owner must collect the vehicle from the yard by Sunday, between 12 noon and 7 pm.
  • If the car is not collected by Sunday, a fine of 100 Qatari Riyals will be imposed for each day of delay.

Vehicle Inspection:

  • If no inspection report is provided by the German International Inspection Centre, Otto Qatar will inspect the vehicle through its own team.
  • An inspection by the German International Inspection Centre will result in a discount on the Otto Qatar commission.
  • If no prior inspection report is given, the seller has no right to object to the inspection result conducted by Otto Qatar.

Seller Responsibilities:

  • The seller is responsible for defects in the engine, gearbox, or chassis found within 5 days if the vehicle wasn’t inspected before purchase.
  • Otto Qatar has the right to stop the sale and return the vehicle to the seller without the seller’s approval.
  • Otto Qatar has the right to demand financial compensation of 20,000 Qatari Riyals if the seller fails to disclose any defects.

Auction Yard Policy:

  • If the vehicle is removed from the auction yard after delivery, it is considered sold, and Otto Qatar has the right to claim the agreed-upon commission.

False/Incomplete Information:

  • If any false, incomplete, or undisclosed information is provided, Qatar Auction has the right to return ownership of the vehicle to the seller without approval and request compensation of 20,000 Qatari Riyals.
  • The seller must return ownership of the vehicle within 7 working days without the right to request any financial compensation.

Vehicle Status – “Not Sold”:

  • A fee of 100 Qatari Riyals per day will be imposed if the vehicle is not removed within 24 hours from the status change to “Not Sold.”

Theoretical Examination:

  • If the seller does not provide an inspection report from an authorized German International Centre, the vehicle will be inspected by Otto Qatar employees. The seller has no right to object to the results of this examination.

Liability:

  • Otto Qatar is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of items inside the vehicle during the auction period. The seller is not entitled to claim any compensation for such issues.

Acknowledgment:

  • By signing this form, I (_) acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for the accuracy and validity of all data related to the vehicle details displayed on the Otto Qatar platform. I confirm that the vehicle is free of any hidden faults in the transmission, engine, chassis, kilometers, or any major accidents. All data provided in this form for the vehicle bearing the chassis number () is correct.
